Why I'm Dancing
This year, I'm stepping onto a completely different stage.
As many of you know, my work has always centered around leadership, growth, healing, and helping others stretch beyond limitations. Now, I'm doing the stretching myself.
On August 8, 2026, I will participate as a celebrity dancer in Renaissance with the Stars at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, benefiting the San Antonio Area African American Community Fund. It is an initiative dedicated to philanthropic investment in the education, economic development, and overall wellbeing of the African American community in San Antonio and Bexar County.
This experience is pushing me beyond my comfort zone in the best possible way. Every dollar raised supports meaningful work that strengthens opportunity, equity, and community impact across San Antonio.
