Dr. Caprica L. Wells is an executive educator, leadership strategist, author, and founder of Reaching Through. It is a platform designed to help high-achieving leaders remove the mask, reconnect with themselves, and lead from a place of alignment rather than performance.

With over two decades of experience in education and leadership, Dr. Wells has served at the highest levels of school systems while also doing the deeper, often unseen work of navigating identity, pressure, and purpose. Her work lives at the intersection of inner growth and executive leadership, where transformation is not just encouraged; it is required.

What I Believe About Leadership

Leadership is not performance.

Too many leaders have learned how to succeed while silently disconnecting from themselves. They meet expectations, carry responsibility, and produce results. This happens all while managing pressure, masking pain, and losing clarity about who they are.

I believe:

• You should not have to abandon yourself to be effective

• High performance without alignment is unsustainable

• Alignment and leadership are not separate journeys

• The strongest leaders are the ones who have done the internal work

My work did not begin on a stage; it began in real life.

It was shaped by moments that required strength, clarity, and resilience long before there was language for it. I understand what it means to carry responsibility while navigating internal weight. I understand what it means to keep showing up, even when you're still processing, still growing, still becoming. That understanding is what allows me to connect deeply with the leaders I serve.
